Product
As a firm believer that terminology matters, Product can feel like a head scratcher. Sometimes noun, always a verb - Product is a communication tool built from the company DNA, solving a need, driving growth and constantly shaping to improve life. They solve problems through a number of channels - either Software (SaaS) or Platform (PaaS) as a Service and weave its growth between a number of departments - Marketing, Client Experience (CX), Customer Service, Technical and Analytics. Product adheres to the shape of the business strategy developed with and by Executive, the Boardroom and Steering committees.

Simply put; it's the epicenter between varied departments and colleagues with a range of expertise and insight who traditionally have their own set ways of working (WoW). And yet - it's never about the company, it's about the Problem. It's about you, the public and how the product makes your life easier. It's disruptive, it's challenging, it's exciting.
Working in Product means taking that vision and creating strategies and processes to bring it to life. It uses systems like Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, it relies on communicating to the public through shaping your Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Content Management System (CMS), Learning management System (LMS) or eCommerce platform and reinforces growth through marketing channels.

I've built products for the Legal, Education, Health and Finance sector; for Government (State/Federal) and NFP's. The commonality between all of them is simple. What's the gap, and how to best solve that problem via the most appropriate means. How do we find alignment between stakeholders and take personalities on that journey. What's the appropriate language for our audiences and how do we build for scale.
